North American Airlines Load Up With Navtech's C.G.PRO™ With and Balance System

Waterloo, Ontario, January 31, 2003:

Navtech, Inc. (OTCBB: NAVH), a leading international provider of mission critical aviation software and services is pleased to have been awarded the weight and balance and load planning contract with North American Airlines.  North American Airlines operates worldwide as a U.S. scheduled Flag airline as well as offering worldwide charters.

C.G.ProTM is an advanced weight and balance system combining aircraft first principals and technology to provide load planning, tracking, and final load calculation solutions.  Typically weight & balance is completed on a manual load sheet, a sub-optimal and error prone process.  C.G.ProTM automates this process and ensures consistency and minimizes errors.  The system includes optimizers to reduce aircraft drag, thereby, improving fuel economy and the ability to find optimal and legal solutions for loads with many destinations to minimize handling.

Paul T. Miller, North American Airlines Vice President Operations said, "As North American Airlines analyzed its future needs in conjunction with the acquisition of a new aircraft type, the B767, the need for a accurate and portable means of calculating weight and balance became apparent.   Our review of potential venders of such a product and the cost associated with providing weight and balance information throughout a world wide operational arena left numerous questions unanswered.  Close liaison with the professional staff at Navtech and our Operations Staff led us to Navtech's computer based solution, C.G.ProTM.  We continue to look forward to final testing of Navtechs product which we believe will lead to economies in loading and a more timely solution to our weight and balance procedures utilized on the B767 and B757 aircraft."

"Navtech is pleased to be able to provide North American with C.G.ProTM our new, industry leading weight and balance solution. With the development and inclusion of the wide-body module, C.G.ProTM now has the functionality and technology to support both passenger and cargo configurations for all sizes of aircraft.  Navtech is committed to providing our customers with the advanced technology and tools required to run an efficient, safe and integrated operation which will reduce errors and increase safety," said Derek Dawson, Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
